Who taught ceramics at UT Austin?

UT Austin’s archived course materials preserve some of this ceramics history. Janet Kastner is listed as the instructor for Intermediate Sculptural Ceramics (ART 327D), a course that covered hand-building, wheel work, kiln firing, slips and glazes.

Margaret Meehan also taught Intermediate Sculptural Ceramics and Advanced Sculptural Ceramics at UT Austin. Her archived syllabus included hand-building, surface techniques, kiln firing, slips and glazes.
